Description

An open-air site located near an isolated hill in the middle of the Lancusi area to the right of the etaghas. On the cliff, two orthogonal surfaces contain both petroglyphs (including Tifinagh and Arabic inscriptions) and figurative motifs (humans, camels, and a single horse). Surface 1 has several pecked Tifinagh inscriptions associated with a camel and a horse. A modern Arabic inscription was pecked on the same surface, while human figures holding weapons were added below and partially over the Tifinagh inscriptions and zoomorphic motifs. Surface 2 contains just a few carved Tifinagh inscriptions. The last surface on the right (Surface 3) displays an isolated petroglyph representing an ostrich.
