Area 4 corresponds to main hydrographic artery of the massif of the Wadi Teshuinat, with a complex network of long and branched tributaries and valleys. Various large rock shelters dot the walls of the wadis and the steep slopes of the canyons. The most famous masterpieces of the Round Heads, Pastoral, and Horse/Bitriangular styles are found in this area.
