Area 3 extends between the Wadi Rawelen and Wadi Ajmir. It includes the main system of wadis known as Rahrmellen and its minor tributaries. The wadis are carved in deep canyons bordered by vertical walls, which are caused by massive landslides and rich in rock shelters and caves. Intensive investigations of the area have revealed a rich patrimony of Pastoral and Camel petroglyphs.
