Description

A rock art site on the eastern edge of an isolated hill along the Wadi Raharmellen that includes Site IDs 397 and 398. It contains three surfaces with one to three panels each. The panels consist of Tifinagh inscriptions and some Pastoral and Camel rock art. The Pastoral style is represented by engraved and pecked cattle with modified horns (Surface 3 – Panel 2). Several camels, a pecked giraffe, and several schematic cattle likely date to the Camel style. A large human profile of uncertain stylistic attribution is also depicted on Surface 3.
