Description

An isolated boulder along the Wadi Tanganghor with a dense concentration of Tifinagh inscriptions and figurative petroglyphs in the Camel style. The figurative motifs include camels represented with or without riders, and horses with riders. There are at least two pecked fighting scenes between horse riders and camel riders. The site contains what is likely the most extended genealogical list known in Libyco-Berber. epigraphy. Among the Tifinagh inscriptions there is also a reference to Mecca (MK(T), the Muslim Holy City (Biagetti et al. 2015: 16).
